The location is quiet - were really glad that we booked something outside of the loud French Quarter so that we could get decent sleep. It’s about a 15-20 min walk away but thought that was pretty ideal. The breakfast is excellent, and the free food in the evening too was unexpected - it could basically be classed as a free buffet dinner with basic things like hot dogs, mac and cheese, nachos, a salad bar etc and 3 free alcoholic drinks per night if you want them. The staff were great, especially Laneetra who was always so friendly and made us feel welcome. The staff at the front desk were great too and they upgraded us to a suite because they had one available for our stay. I’d definitely recommend the Drury Plaza Hotel

As always a great stay at a Drury Plaza. This one in New Orleans is only a short walk away from the main tourist areas. The streetcar is just a few yards away from the hotel too. Included in the room rate is a great breakfast and the 5.30pm kickback adding value to the stay. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. For those fancying a dip there is a rooftop pool with sunloungers, chairs and tables. Pool towels are provided free of charge. All the staff - front of house, bar, dining area and housekeeping were fantastic. We just love Drury Plaza Hotels and always stay at them where we can.

The people at the front desk were extremely welcoming and helpful. Breakfast and dinners were buffet and included in the stay. There were also excursions that would pick you up at the front of the hotel. Swimming pool was on the 6th floor.

Superb value especially with breakfast and kickback including three alcoholic drinks per adult Front desk Staff were super helpful. Parking 34$ +tax with in and out privileges for 24hrs. Pool on 6th floor was small but perfect and it wasn't too busy for our Monday night stay. There was even a hot tub. Towels provided near the pool. Gym was great and served its purpose.

The staff were super helpful and friendly. We had to stay an extra night due to Hurricane Francine. The staff were super accommodating. Nothing was a bother. The location is excellent. There is a trolley stop right near the hotel. The superdome and French Quarter were a short walk away.

Room comfy, good shower, good coffee machine. Breakfast poor with same items each morning. Free evening meal good. Location was good, tram stop outside, short walk to French quarter.

The breakfast and evening "snack" were plenty for us and it was great to have them onsite. The hotel is well located just about a 15 minute walk to lots of stuff to see.

What a warm welcome! The staff couldn't do enough for us, we were treated like family from the moment we arrived. We were 5.5 hours early for check-in to ask if we could drop our bags and go out to explore the city. Instead, we were upgraded by Dee to a bigger room that was immediately available, and told to hurry back down for breakfast - despite having not stayed the previous night. We were also allowed to stay in our room an extra 2 hours beyond check out time - for free - given we had a late flight. The bar was a lovely spot to warm up at night given the unexpectedly cold weather - and watching Nola mixing up fabulous cocktails for us was a sight not to be missed (ask for the Sazerac!). Every employee we passed gave us a warm greeting. There's also a 5.30pm 'kick-back' for 90 minutes where you can get free buffet food, and 3 drinks - each. Totally above and beyond, we really loved our stay. Thank you Drury Plaza team! The location was also good, a few blocks down from Canal Street, running onto Bourbon Street - so not far to get to the heart of the French Quarter or streetcars.

Very nice hotel, clean facilities, pool on the 6th floor, clean with a view, walking distance to the quarter, although we preferred to drive and park since we had the family in tow and knew we would be walking a lot once in the quarter. Would also be a very cheap Uber or lyft ride. The room was spacious and plenty of room for our family of 5 kids ages 6, 16, 18 had a living room area with bedroom separate. The bed was a little bouncy I guess you could say but otherwise comfortable. Breakfast was great, and the happy hour thing they do is literally like a whole meal, so If your family is on a budget this is the place to go!

Love the breakfast choices, evening snacks, and drinks. Our room was very comfortable and we liked the location for being able to walk to places in NOLA.
